Why do my knee sleeves feel very tight when I first put them on?
Our 5mm and 7mm knee sleeves are designed to provide a performance compression fit, which means they will feel tight when first worn. This is completely normal.
After 1–2 training sessions the material will naturally adjust to the shape of your leg and become more comfortable while still maintaining strong support.
Are 7mm/5mm knee sleeves supposed to be difficult to put on?
Yes. Our 5mm and 7mm knee sleeves are designed for a tight performance fit to provide proper compression and support. A snug fit helps improve stability during lifts and prevents the sleeve from slipping during training.
Top tip:
If you're struggling to get your sleeves on, roll them down from the inside so the inner print is visible. Slide the sleeve on just below the knee joint, then roll it up into position over your knee.
Note:
After 1–2 training sessions the material will begin to flex slightly and adjust to the shape of your leg, improving comfort while maintaining strong support.
I have an issue with my knee sleeves - can I return them?
Yes. We offer a 30-day free returns policy if you experience any issues with your knee sleeves. In addition, all current Mammal knee sleeves are covered by our 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects because we stand behind the quality and durability of our products.

What thickness knee sleeve do I need?
7mm provides maximum support for heavy strength training. 5mm offers a balance of support and flexibility. Lighter sleeves are better suited for endurance and general training.
Can I wear knee sleeves for my whole workout?
Yes, but many athletes choose to wear them mainly during heavier lifts or high impact movements to maintain comfort and maximise sleeve lifespan.

Do knee sleeves help with knee pain?

Hand wash in cold water and air dry. Avoid machine drying as heat can damage neoprene and reduce lifespan.
